Board Fieldtrip on the Edge

Each year, our Management Team and Board of Trustees head out into the field to visit one of our TMF-funded projects. This year, we treated ourselves to a trip during flower season to the TMF-funded ๐™‘๐™ž๐™– ๐™๐™š๐™ง๐™ง๐™–๐™ฉ๐™–: ๐™๐™ฎ๐™ฃ๐™—๐™ค๐™จ ๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐™€๐™™๐™œ๐™š, located on Papkuilsfontein in the Northern Cape, and expertly executed by our long-standing partner, EWT.

The weekend was nothing short of spectacular, filled with wonderful food, breathtaking flowers, five-star hospitality, and top-notch guiding. Our Trustees embraced the adventure with courage and enthusiasm, and we’re sure many will return soon with family and friends.

A big thank you to Papkuilsfontein for hosting us, Endangered Wildlife Trust for your unwavering commitment to servicing your biodiversity stewardship landowners, and our Trustees for bringing the perfect mix of bravery, dedication, and passion to this unforgettable experience.

We are proud to support this unique nature-based tourism initiative through our Prosperity Programme, which aims to empower communities in the Cape Floristic Region to seize economic and social opportunities linked to fynbos. Via Ferrata is a shining example of this vision in action.
